Dragontropin may cause headaches, localized muscle pain, arthralgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, weakness, mild hyperglycemia, and glucosuria. Mild transient edema occurs in 2.5% of patients early during treatment. Local urticarial reactions have rarely been reported at the injection site.
